Game
Bird Hunting
During
game bird season, August 1 through March 31, White River
Outfitters and Game Birds, LLC has the perfect location
to work your dog and guns.
For
those without dogs, we will be happy to provide one of our
professional guides and dogs to accommodate you on your
hunt.
We
offer a hunting experience where there is no competition
for game birds and no limit on the number of birds. You
can choose one of our four private hunting preserves based
on your needs. Each private hunting preserve offers a unique
opportunity to hunt pheasant, chukar, and valley quail in
a diverse setting.
Whether
you are a seasoned game bird hunter or someone new to the
sport, you will enjoy the hospitality and generous services
provided by White River Outfitters and Game Birds, LLC.
Overnight accommodations are available, whether you choose
our "hunter house" , RV hook ups or camping areas
along the white river or badger creek, we have a location
suited for you. Corporate and individual memberships are

Hillbilly
Heaven Hunting Preserve
The
Hillbilly Hunting Preserve is located in the "banana
belt" of central Oregon, between the town of Tygh Valley
and Sherars Bridge, which crosses the scenic Deschutes River.
This valley boasts of 130-180 frost-free days with over
250 days of sunshine. The terrain is rolling hills of grass,
irrigated crops and draws of native shrubs and trees. This
preserve is located out-the-door from our "hunter house"
Hulse
High Country Pheasant Hunting Preserve
Homesteaded
in 1862, this fourth generation, family owned, ranch offers
a rich bounty of game bird hunting. This preserve is located
between Tygh Valley and Dufur with magnificent views of
Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens. Seeded alfalfa and
grass, brushy draws, and a timber culture dating from the
1860's attract a bounty of native pheasants and chukar.
Gourlay
Canyon Hunting Preserve
Bring
your camera! This cover filled draw flows west into a picturesque
view of Mt. Hood and the foothills. If you want a picture
of your dog on point or flushing a bird, this is the spot!
Dufur
Gap Hunting Preserve
Just
two miles south of Dufur places you in 406 acres of thick
grass, native upland shrubs, riparian brush, and wheat stubble.

Combination
hunting and fishing trips are available for those who love
to "cast-n-blast ".
Sporting
clays
All
year 'round you can sharpen your shooting skills with hulse
sporting clays. The sporting clay course is located in a
deep, wide draw with cover of brush and trees. Natural springs
keep the area lush and green. Challenging sporting clay
targets include the "fur & feather", "passing
mallards", and "mated doves".
